Erecting mechanism vertebral body
The new design of the erecting mechanism for vertebral bodies is functional and ergonomic, the product has been given an independent appearance and the range of Somatex products has been further developed in the corporate design created by IONDESIGN. In the design of the handle, special emphasis was placed on manufacturing and ergonomics.
To straighten vertebrae, the surgeon inserts a stent into the vertebral body via a cannula. There it can be aligned and then spread open to hold the vertebra so that it can subsequently be fixed with cement in the usual vertebroplasty procedure. Its appearance illustrates its ergonomic and static advantages and makes the workflow safely recognizable and tangible.
