The drinking fountain allows direct drinking as well as easy bottle filling. Animals will find their own drinker in the lower bowl.
The flowing appearance of the fountain appears to be
as if created by the water itself.
The first drinking fountain is commissioned in May 2023 in Hamburg. The waterfountain is environmentally friendly, simple and easy to use. As a sculpture with a high recognition value, it fits into its urban environment as well as into parks and green spaces.
The curved shape makes it easy to access and use from different angles and positions.
The indicated vein running up the body of the fountain symbolizes the water inlet on the inside. The fountain ring indicates a basin through which the water drains. When the drinking fountain is used, a wide arch is created, which can also be used to fill water bottles of any size.
The water runs down the shaft of the fountain and is collected in a bowl. The water is accessible to anyone at any height: even dogs or birds can quench their thirst. The integrated collection tray is automatically refilled on the fly. An overflow regulates the level and ensures that the water is always clean.
The well body is manufactured as a metal 3D print using the build-up welding process. The manhole cover with inspection cover is cast in iron. The stainless steel water inlet valve can be manually operated (purchased part).
The base plate can be designed and branded in a variety of ways, for example as an individualised cast iron relief or as an expressive version with walkable glass and metallised natural stone.
